2. What data we collect

Document content

The text of documents you submit for translation. This is processed by our AI systems and is NOT permanently stored. Free translations are processed in memory only. Paid translations may be temporarily stored for up to 72 hours to enable email delivery, after which they are automatically deleted.

Account information

If you create an account: your name, email address, and country. This is stored in our secure database for as long as your account exists.

Email address

If you voluntarily provide your email for delivery of translation results or to receive helpful follow-up information. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Usage data

Anonymous metrics: document type, language pair, word count, translation date. We do not store the content of your documents in this metadata.

Payment data

Payment details are processed directly by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card details. We store: payment amount, date, and status for our records.

Technical data

IP address (for rate limiting and security only), browser type, and basic analytics via Google Analytics. This data is anonymised.

7. Cookies

We use minimal cookies: one for authentication state (if you are logged in) and Google Analytics cookies for anonymous usage statistics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Our database uses row-level security. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We regularly review our security practices.
